Chelsea in partnership with their kit manufacturer, Nike have released 2023/24 home kit which will be used in home matches without a front shirt sponsor as the club is yet to strike a deal with a shirt sponsor but there are ongoing negotiations with multiple companies over the deal. The reason for its early release from multiple sources is believed that the club feared going into preseason without its fans having the new shirt which could have affected the clubs sales of the kits before the start of next season.

The kit was released as a mark of 25 years since the clubs iconic season 1997/98 where the club won the UEFA cup winner’s cup. The kit is designed in blue having the armpit area white in colour with shimmering gold and the crest is also gold in colour.
