Rasmus Højlund to Manchester united agreement sealed for a fee worth €70m
Manchester united have agreed a deal in principle with Atalanta,to sign 20yrs old striker Rasmus Højlund.
Rasmus Højlund will join Manchester united on a five years deal with an option for another season, after united agreed a deal with Atalanta for the 20yrs old Danish striker. United priority target this summer was to sign a focal striker. Manchester united had to face french side PSG for the signature of the young Danish.
Erik Ten Hag has being pushing the club heirachy to sign a striker.Erik Ten Hag loves to press high and a mobile striker to create more spaces and chances for the other forwards,and with Højlund he has a young,energetic goal getter with much room of improvement considering his age and great desire to play for United to fulfill his childhood dream.
Rasmus Højlund young career have been on a steady rise. Graduated from Copenhagen’s academy making his first team debut aged 17yrs,in October 2020. He went on to make 32 appearances scoring 5 goals before joining Austrian club Strum Gruz in January 2022,later that summer he completed a €17m move to Atlanta.
Manchester United have put their goalscoring responsibility on the 20yrs old . He is capped 6 times by Danish national team and has six goals under his name. He scored 10 goals for Atlanta last season across all Competition.
