United fans furious at Onana and Mount after awful performance despite friendly win.
Newly Manchester United signings Andre Onana and Mason Mount have been slummed by Manchester United fans after they displayed some awful performance in a friendly game against Lens. The players are yet to win trust with their fans despite the coach showing the club that they will be the spine of his team in winning trophies. The fans showed anger to the players and some even reacted with insults on the players.
In today’s friendly fans weren’t happy after Andre Onana conceded a goal whereby he just got lobbed from the centre circle on his Old Trafford debut game against Lens from from France. This goal was the fourth goal the keeper has conceded in a hundred and sixty minutes since he was signed. The player also had a quarrel with teammate Harry Maguire in last friendly which fans are still questioning his behaviour activities since he had been on a blacklist among previous coaches on behaviour actions.
Mason Mount is also yet to settle in his new home as he has played six games for Manchester United since his switch from Chelsea and he hasn’t scored nor assisted. The players performance has become a worry to Manchester United fans due to the player failing to convert open chances. In today’s match against Lens the player also failed to score an open net and fans were angry with him which made to rise of reactions and insults to the player after the match.
The coach has defended them as he believes it’s still early to make conclusion of how the player will perform and he is doing a lot to bring them on track.
