Breaking : Caicedo completes Chelsea move.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton at a British record fee of £115M. The move has been full of saga as Brighton felt the player should not leave in a fee below £100M and even put the player on sale to the highest bidder to resolve the matter Liverpool tried to cash in with a record fee of £111M but the player stalled the move as his heart was on to play for Chelsea and gave Chelsea some time to hijack the move.

The deal for Caicedo was agreed on Saturday night but the clubs decided not to announce it before the opening game against Liverpool to create a welcoming environment in the match and also to the opponents who were had interests for the player.

Contract details is that Caicedo will sign a contract until June 2031 with an option to extend a year.

Brighton have also put a sell on clause in the deal from future Chelsea sales.

Medicals have been booked and will be done in the next 48 hours.
