Nottingham Forest in talks with Chelsea to sign Andrey Santos on Loan
Andrey Santos is set to leave on Loan this summer with Both Nottingham Forest and FC Porto interested.
Nottingham Forest have turned to Chelsea teenager Andrey Santos as they try to reinforce their midfield options for the new season. Chelsea signed Santos from Vasco da Gama in January window but was sent back on loan until the end of the season.
Andrey Santos was set to stay at Chelsea this season, but with the arrival of both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia Santos will be forced to leave Chelsea this summer for more playing time. Santos was on the Bench on the opening game of the season at Stamford Bridge,but was unused substitute. Mauricio Pochettino didn’t include Santos on his matchday squad against Westham United.
Andrey Santos is highly rated at Chelsea, who prefers Santos loan move to a premier league club rather than other league. Steve Cooper is in the market for a young energetic defensive midfielder.
The young talented Brazilian can operate as a central midfielder or defensive midfielder. Santos is comfortable on ball and beat press with great movements on and off the ball Santos can score goals as he was the topscorer at The U20 copa America where he captained Brazil to glory.
Chelsea are willing to let Santos leave on Loan so that he can get more playing time and develop his game while gaining top flight experience. Nottingham Forest is the likely destination for the Brazilian teenager.
