Manchester United secure loan deals for Amrabat and Reguilon.
Manchester United have secured their summer transfer targets despite the deals will be on loan occasions. Manchester United boss Eric Ten Hag has confirmed that it’s true the deals are happening in today’s training session and further added that Sergio Reguilon was present in Carrington training facility now it’s only Sofyan Amrabat who will be in Manchester today to seal the move.
Manchester United were in need of a left back after Luke Shaw sustained a muscle injury and after the cucurella saga with Chelsea they left the deal and moved on to Tottenham and discussed the availability of the player on loan and they got a green light from the club and the player too as the player had already been sidelined. The player will fill in the void left by Luke Shaw until he returns from injury and then offer a competition for the spot until the end of the season.
Sofyan Amrabat was another Manchester United target since the world cup and the player had been waiting for this move to happen despite entourage by other clubs the player rejected them and maintained his stance that he wants to listen to offers from Manchester United only. The deal is a loan deal with a buy option in June 2024 summer in fee worth €20M + €5M add-ons. The loan fee is €10M.
Understand that Manchester United are working out on loan deals as they are trying to balance their FFP books after spending huge on Rasmus Højlund and Mason Mount and they are yet to make significant key sales.
