Lavia to miss at least six weeks due to ankle injury.
Chelsea have taken assessment of Romeo Lavia injury and the results have come out in a negative and unexpected way as the player is expected to miss at least six weeks. The player suffered this injury in Thursday morning during a training session where after a heavy tackle challenge he injured his ankle. After scans were made by the medical team the player was found to have torn his ligaments in the ankle area.
The new signing will now be on rehabilitation programme where he joins other players who are still nursing injuries. James, Broja and Badiashile are expected to return this month.
Chelsea injury blows have led to their slow start in the Premier league despite showing a lot of improvement during the preseason period but injuries have again started piling up and some players having setbacks.
Mudryk has lately shown that he is fine after taking part in today’s session with Ukraine national team. There were worries that he had injured himself during the match against England after his forced substitution but the national team has confirmed he is fine.
