Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana has made into this year’s team selection for the upcoming international games duties. The country has reversed it’s decision and opened the doors again for Onana to represent his country again.

The Cameroonian last international match appearance was in the world cup last year where Cameroon lost one goal to nil to Switzerland. After this match Onana was dropped in the next match against Serbia which ended in a draw leading to Cameroon’s exit in the world cup at group stage. The dropping of Onana created heat as people wanted to know why the player was suspended and news erupted that the player had differences with head coach Rigobert Song that he didn’t like his football tactics. The coach didn’t hold back at Onana as he admitted that he didn’t like Onana’s style of play where the goalie is always out of his box yard.

This heated relationship led to the president of Cameroon football federation Samuel Eto’o to intervene. The decision was made to suspend Onana from the national team which led to him quitting any national level roles and concentrate with club football only. Onana is however expected not to leave Manchester United for this international break as he has yet reversed his decision to play again for Cameroon.
