Big boost for Mauricio Pochettino as Armando Broja returns to first team training.

Armando Broja was back to first team training at Cobham for the first time this season after being out injured for long period. Armando Broja suffered a knee injury in a mid-season friendly against Aston Villa. The 21 yrs old Striker underwent surgery to fix a raptured cruciate ligament on his right knee. Broja was sidelined for the rest of the season. It was Armando Broja debut season at Chelsea after successful loan spell at Southampton in the Premier league where he scored eight goals. Armando Broja had scored one goal in 18 appearances for Chelsea before being injured.

Armando Broja return is a huge boost for Mauricio Pochettino who lost both Christopher Nkunku and Carney Chukumweka to injuries already. Mauricio Pochettino appreciates Broja and sees him as a potential Super star in his attack.

Chelsea declined a potential swap deal for unwanted Striker Romelu Lukaku and Dusan vlahovic. Juventus were demanding €50m + Lukaku for Vlahovic. Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t convinced with Vlahovic signing and viewed him as a barrier to Armando Broja growth and development with Chelsea first team.

Chelsea are still in the market in search of a forward to reinforce their attack. Mohamed Kudus and Ben Johnson viewed as the likely candidate to join Chelsea this summer.
