Chelsea have targeted OGC Nice goalkeeper as a potential second choice back up after the departure of Kepa Arrizabalaga to Real Madrid on loan. Kasper Schmeichel the former Leicester city legend is on Chelsea radar on a move to returning back to the Premier league to play for the London side as reported by Jacob Steinberg.

The move for the goalkeeper is being viewed as a means of trying to provide experience to the squad which consists of young players as he and Thiago Silva would play a major role in Chelsea’s rebuild . The player is also thought to be cheap and would be interested in a short term contracts which would not stress the team.

Chelsea also have drawn a list of two more goalkeeper to replace Kepa as they are exploring options for Borussia Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel and Valencia keeper Mamardashvili who are aimed at long term projects at Chelsea.

Do you agree with these moves ? Or you feel Chelsea should not sign Kasper Schmeichel.
