Chelsea still confident on Caicedo as they explore Kudus and Olise deals.
Moises Caicedo still remains Chelsea’s priority in this transfer window despite the saga entering its 10th week since the interests and negotiations to sign the player started. Currently the two clubs are still negotiating and the player has already agreed contract terms with Chelsea verbally and he is waiting for the two clubs to agree on fee which is delaying the move. Chelsea are ready to sell Gallagher who is deemed as a surplus replacement in the midfield for Caicedo as Tottenham and West ham show interests.
Chelsea are still trying to recruit more signings in to the squad to strengthen the forward positions as the club lost so many players and its still trying to force some players out like Lukaku and Ziyech and the club needs replacement. Several names have been discussed by the Chelsea board which will suit Pochettino project. The names being explored are Mohamed Kudus, Michael Olise and Ryan Cherki. But the two options being considered are Ajax star Mohamed Kudus and Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
As reported yesterday by Fabrice Hawkins Chelsea have already made a bid to Crystal Palace worth €45M including add ons for the player and verbally agreeing to contract terms as the player is attracted with the project at Chelsea and ready to move to the London club. Chelsea could still face competition from Manchester city who are still exploring the deal and they are waiting for Crystal Palace green light as the player has a release clause of £35M. Mohamed Kudus is another player on Chelsea radar as Chelsea have already made contacts with Ajax expressing interests to sign the attacking midfielder as Mason Mount replacement.
