Thiago Silva put the Blue’s ahead with a powerful header after a great corner kick from Ben Chilwell. New signing Christopher Nkuku scored the second for Chelsea to take his tally to three goals in preseason.
Chelsea started the tournament with a win against stubborn Brighton side, wining four goals to three. Chelsea drew the next match against Newcastle united.
It’s a good start for the new Head coach Mauricio Pochettino who have worn three preseason games drawing One.Chelsea are yet to taste defeat under the new manager. Chelsea had the youngest squad in the tournament but the young blue were the best team in the tournament by far considering the stats.
The Trophy will be a great boost for the young talented players confidence and also a motivation for the new manager that his team is heading into the right direction.
Chelsea face Borrusia Dortmund next in their last preseason game before the start of premier league on August 11 where they face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
