Allen, who was acquired by the Bears in March 2024 through a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers, has become an integral part of the team’s offense and locker room dynamics.
Throughout the 2024 season, Allen demonstrated his value by recording 70 receptions for 744 yards and seven touchdowns. His consistent performance provided rookie quarterback Caleb Williams with a reliable target, contributing significantly to the team’s offensive strategies.
Allen’s season was not without challenges. Early in the year, he grappled with a heel injury that sidelined him for two games. Reflecting on the injury, Allen noted, “It’s just irritating. It’s kind of like a hamstring pull; you can’t really do anything about it. You’ve got to wait until it heals up.” Despite these setbacks, Allen’s resilience and dedication were evident as he returned to form, becoming a pivotal player in the Bears’ offense.
