Deadline day Chelsea transfer news.
Chelsea have been busy this transfer summer window where we witnessed several exits and other new faces joining the club. The club has hooped a massive record of hitting £1Billion figures in three transfer windows. Today being the deadline day for transfer markets in Europe, Chelsea were active again but today they were trying to push for several players to leave the club. The players are a hundred percent believed to be not in Pochettino project plans. Here are players who were involved in deadline day transfer. New recently signed players are Deivid Washington and Cole Palmer.
Callum Hudson Odoi
The Chelsea graduate successfully has been able to complete a permanent move to premier league side Nottingham Forest on a fee of £5M and Chelsea were able to include a sell on clause on his deal in future sales. The deal is done and Odoi has signed his contract details.
Mason Burstow
The Chelsea academy player will spend this season on loan in championship side Sunderland. This is his second loan spell after previous loan at Chalton AthleticFC. The player made his first Chelsea debut in competitive tournament in the carabao cup this season. Other appearance came in US tour preseason friendlies where he scored one goal. All the best in your new chapter.
Trevoh Chalobah
Trevoh Chalobah today has seen his move to Bayern Munich collapsing after clubs failed to reach an agreement. Chelsea wanted a permanent move while Bayern wanted a loan deal. The player was ready to move but he is now set to stay at Chelsea.
Ian Maatsen
Ian Maatsen was on the radar on players leaving the club but his move to Burnley is at stand still as the player personally had a talk with Burnley head coach and said he is not ready to return to a second loan spell at Burnley. The player is ready to fight for his place after Pochettino showed trust in him. Understand Chelsea are still pushing trying to convince Maatsen to join Burnley.
Conor Gallagher
Gallagher has always been involved with a move outside Chelsea due to new arrivals Lavia and Caicedo but the player has always shown his desire to stay in his boyhood club and fight for his place. The move to Tottenham collapsed as the club couldn’t match Chelsea’s asking fee. Pochettino has clearly stated he wants Gallagher to stay.
