Chelsea are eyeing Roma star Paulo Dybala as the perfect replacement for Mason Mount who completed his transfer to their premier league rivals Manchester United this week. After the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino as the new Chelsea manager, the coach has been weighing the move of the Argentine to Chelsea which has led to scouts asking more information about the player and making several calls in order to convince the player to join the London club as they are willing to trigger his release clause.

Dybala who has only a release clause of €12M to clubs outside Italy has been linked to a move to England which he sees it as an advancement to his career.

Dybala has a style of play which could be linked to Lampard as he is flexible in a way that he can unlock goals from tight defence lines through his long shot strikes something Chelsea are lacking now as they got no player with long shot strikes with high accuracy leading to goals. The other reason is Dybala’s play making ability by providing defence line breaking passes as he has a good vision and lastly Dybala is a good penalty taker. All these qualities possessed by this argentine will solve Chelsea goal scoring curse despite the introduction of Nkunku and Jackson in the attack.
