The five-star phenom out of Buford High School (GA) announced his commitment to UGA on Friday, instantly propelling the Bulldogs’ 2026 class into the national spotlight.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 305 pounds, Houston is widely regarded as the No. 1 offensive lineman in the country and the top overall prospect in Georgia. His commitment marks a pivotal moment in head coach Kirby Smart’s relentless pursuit of homegrown, elite talent.

Houston’s commitment continues Georgia’s trend of dominating in-state recruiting battles. In the 2025 cycle, UGA signed a school-record 22 players from the Peach State. Now, with Houston in the fold, Smart appears poised to keep that momentum rolling.
