Africa is known to have produced some of the world finest footballers over the years such as Samuel Eto, Drogba,Mane ,Salah just to name a few. In modern football, to acquire great talents money have become the main factor. Football have become one of the most paying careers,here are the highest paid African footballers.

SADIO MANE -€661,000 per week

Sadio Mane is the highest paid African footballers.

After completing his move to Saudi side Al nassr Sadio Mane becomes the highest paid African footballer. The Senegalese joins Al nassr on a 4yrs deal which will see him earn €30m annually.

Sadio Mane Left Bayern Munich after one season with the Bavarians. He also played for Liverpool where he won the premier league and champions league with the Reds.

Throughout his sucessful career Sadio Mane have always used his fortunes to improve not only his family members lives, but the whole community in general. Sadio mane have been able to biuld a hospital, school and connected the whole village with internet.

The five times Premier league champion is second on the list. Mahrez left Manchester City this summer for Saudi outfits Al Ahli on a deal wotrh €30m. Mahrez signed a three year deal with the Club. Former Leicester city winger left Manchester City after five season with the club winning four premier league with them and last years Champions League.

The Algerian international was an integral member of Pep Guardiola treble winner last season. Manchester City were willing to extend his contract, but Riyad opted for a new challange and joined the saudi pro league.

Kalidou Koulibaly – €421,000 per week

The 31yrs old Senegalese Defender left Chelsea this summer on a permanent deal worth around €23m to Saudi outfits Al Hilal. Koulibaly only spent a season at Chelsea after completing his move from serie A side Napoli. Kalidou Koulibaly was on a $200,000 salary at chelsea, but the saudi pro league club Al-hilal presented a lucative contract where they would double his weekly wages.

After completing his move to Al Hilal Koulibaly was quoted saying money was the reason he made the switch to Saudi league, suggesting that the money would help him fulfill his dream to support his Family members and the community at large.

Mohamed Salah – €350,000 per week

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is next on our list.After renewing his contract with Liverpool last summer Salah salary increased making him one of the highest paid premier league players. Liverpool premier league all time topscorer, having been at the club for 6yrs now wining the premier league and champion league with the Reds.

Eduard Mendy – €217,000 per week

Mendy left Chelsea this summer to join Saudi side Al Ahli on a three year contract.Mendy who was voted the best goalkeeper two years ago found himself out of favour at Chelsea when he rejected New Chelsea contract. Mendy was one of the lowest paid players at Chelsea despite his heroic saves on the pitch. Al Ahli offered higher salary and Mendy accepted the move.
