Injury Update : Reece James set to have a scan on his knee.

Reece James has been scheduled to have a scan on his knee although the medical sources remain optimistic on the issue. This is as reported by C345Sam. The situation arose today on Thursday training session where the player seemed to be in pain after the session making the medical team to set the player to have a scan on the knee in the coming days so as to determine whether the player will be travelling with the squad to USA for the preseason friendlies.

The decision for the knee scan is yet to be confirmed by the medical team as they will assess the player further in order to take the next medical step on the player. The injury knee has kept the player out of the field as till now the knee seems not to be fully recovered and has even caused setbacks on the player. The player has tried to battle with this injury but seems the player has always been in a hurry therefore causing the injury to cause have a continuous cycle thus keeping the player out.

Sources have told that trainings under Pochettino are of high intensity which might have caused the player to suffer a setback injury in the knee despite the club hiring a medical specialist to deal with injuries problem as the club recorded high number of injuries last season. Pochettino and his team will wait for the medical team in order to give further information on the player.
