Juventus axe 4 players as new era begins.
Juventus has dropped four players out of the club as Mamilliano Allegri squad clear out starts as he begins new project. The coach sees the players unfit for the project. The result of this has led the club to put the players on sale in this transfer market window with immediate effect. The players on the list are Leonardo Bonucci club captain, Weston Mackenie, Arthur Melo and Denis Zakaria.
These four players have had less minutes play time in the club as only Leonardo Bonucci spent time with the club last season the others were on loan to premier league clubs. Arthur Melo and Denis Zakaria have had frequent injuries that have kept them out of play and the coach basing on this problems he decided to exclude them from his project as he needs players who can participate 80% of the matches and are less to injuries. The captain Leonardo Bonucci is believed to be dropped due to his age as the player is almost hitting 35 years therefore the services offered will be minimum and the coach has already decided to work with young squad. Weston Mackenie has failed to fully evolve to Serie A league which has made his future doubtful.
Allegri has decided to clear out his squad as he looks forward to start a new project of young players in order to match the likes of Napoli, Ac Milan, Inter and Lazio for league. Juventus have failed to secure the Schudetto since its last win in 2019/20 season. The club being known as the ‘Old ladies’ as it has had the most number of players who were past 28yrs now want to change the narrative into having a squad with young age to compete effectively even on European matches. The club is open to selling Paul Pogba.
More players will leave as the club brings in new players.
