Manchester City have reached an agreement to sign Jeremy Doku for €60M fee.
Manchester city are set to sign Rennes left footed winger Jeremy Doku for a fee worth €60M. The clubs today have reached an agreement over the deal including add ons after the player gave a green light since August 1.City have been tracking Doku for a long time and that’s why they decided to go for him. The fee will be paid in installments as it’s the preferred favourable payment terms for City.
The player agreed personal terms long time ago despite competition from clubs who wanted to hijack the move as Chelsea is believed to have been watching the progress with City. Medicals have been booked and the player will fly to UK this week to complete the move.
The player has already netted two goals this season in the French Ligue 1 and had a great season in the previous season where the Belgian scored nine goals in the league. The player is supposed to fill in the void left by Riyad Mahrez who left City to Saudi club Al Ahli. Manchester city in the two games have already indicated signs that they need reinforcement in the attack position after they had an injury blow to Debryune and losing Gundogan who was a creative midfielder.
