Mason Mount to undergo medical today and sign his contract as a new Manchester united player.

Manchester united have scheduled a medical for Mason Mount on Monday at Carrington. The 24yrs old England midfielder is set to sign a 5yrs contract at united, valid until June 2028 with an option to extend for one season. His salary will triple at united where he is expected to recieve a weekly salary of £250,000 up to 300,000 with bonoses.

Mount left Chelsea his boyhood club after spending 18yrs at the club. The fans favorite “Money Mase” joined Chelsea’s youth academy aged 6yrs.Mason would then establish himself as one of the most talented boy in the academy. When Mount turned 18yrs he was sent to Netherlands to gain first team experience at Vitesse . The season was a breakthrough for Mason as be scored 12goals and 8 asssits for the club. It seemed that wasn’t enough to convince Chelsea loyals , because after his return from Netherlands mason was sent to Derby county on loan then coached by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.

Lampard would then develop Mason Mount to one of the most exciting talent at the championship that season.After Mauricio Sarri departure at Chelsea Club legend Frank Lampard was appointed as Chelsea’s new manager. Frank gave Mason Mount his debut that season.

Every since Mason Mount have been Chelsea’s best player of the season in the past two years, winning the champions league in the process. Chelsea heirachy had tried to tie down Mason Mount with a longterm contract, but the young English midfielder was relactant to sign and wanted out of the Chelsea squad. Chelsea are expected to recieve a £60m package from Manchester united, considering Mason had only one year left on his Chelsea’s contract.

In the end it’s a win win situation since united are securing the services of one of the most talented young attacking midfielders in the world if they are to get the best of him. Erik Ten Haag rates him high and thinks he can fit well into his playing style.
