Mbappé and PSG saga is continuing to heat up as no one is holding back in firing shots blaming each other and causing reactions among the fans who are now in a dilemma if the relationship between them is still intact or broken. Recently the PSG president made a warning statement to the Player that he will not leave the club for free after the player had sent a letter to the club stating that he will not continue with the club after the end of his contract. The club signed the player on a record fee which puts the player behind Neymar as the second most expensive transfer. The player was given a one month period to either extend his stay at the club or be put in the market for sale to the highest bidder next month.
Currently Mbappé is in his paternal homeland country, Cameroon where he is enjoying his vacation and unveiling his charity foundation. The player has been silent on this issue but he couldn’t hold it up any more when he was asked about the clubs situation. When he was asked about winning the UCL trophy he said that it’s his dream and he will never get satisfied until he wins it. When asked if he could win it with PSG he said he doesn’t know and that question is not for him they should ask the people who built the team because they are responsible for the club’s failure to win the UCL. Mbappé added that they had done what the club expected them to do.
The bitter remarks did not end there as Mbappé added that playing for PSG doesn’t help a lot because it’s a club that divides. This caused the departure of Lionel Messi from the club and has also caused uncertainty on Neymar’s future at the club as the club wants to sell him too. Mbappé also believes that leaving the club would be a great opportunity for him to win the UCL and Ballon d’or as the club doesn’t suit him anymore for these awards. Mbappé priority is to join Real Madrid
