*NETFLIX REJECTS JASON MOMOA’S MOVIE SLUMBERLAND, CITING CREATIVE DIFFERENCES AND CONCERNS OVER MOMOA’S ROLE*

Los Angeles, CA – In a shocking move, Netflix has rejected Jason Momoa’s highly anticipated movie Slumberland, citing creative differences and concerns over Momoa’s role in the film.

Slumberland, a fantasy adventure film directed by Francis Lawrence, was set to star Momoa as Flip, a quirky outlaw who joins forces with a young girl named Nemo to find magical pearls in a dream world. However, according to sources close to the project, Netflix executives had concerns over Momoa’s portrayal of the character, feeling that it did not align with their vision for the film.

“Jason’s take on the character was not what we had in mind,” said a Netflix spokesperson. “We felt that his performance was not consistent with the tone and direction of the film.”

Furthermore, Netflix executives were also reportedly concerned over Momoa’s recent comments on social media, which some perceived as being at odds with the values and messaging of the film.

“Jason’s comments were not in line with the values and themes of Slumberland,” said the spokesperson. “We felt that it was best to go in a different direction.”

As a result, Netflix has decided to replace Momoa in the film, with sources indicating that the role of Flip will now be played by actor Chris Hemsworth.

“We are excited to have Chris on board and feel that he will bring a fresh energy to the role,” said the spokesperson.

Momoa’s representatives have declined to comment on the situation, but sources close to the actor indicate that he is “disappointed but not surprised” by Netflix’s decision.

The rejection of Slumberland is a significant blow to Momoa, who had been heavily promoting the film on social media and had expressed his excitement about the project.

The film is still expected to be released on Netflix later this year, albeit with Hemsworth in the lead role instead of Momoa.
