Chelsea are currently on a squad clear out in order to minimize the large squad as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to be left with a sizeable squad to work with. A total of ten players have left already having majorly signed to the Saudi pro league. Some players have also been put to loan lists to facilitate this large squad clear out. Here are the top players currently wanted out of the squad by Mauricio Pochettino as he feels he doesn’t want to go to a preseason with players who don’t want to be at Chelsea.
Pierre-Emirick Aubameyang Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a move outside Chelsea more so a return to Barcelona other bids from USA and Saudi but the player is reluctant to accept the offers as he wants to continue his career in Europe for two more years. With the arrival of Nicolas Jackson means Aubameyang playing time is limited.
Christian Pulisic The USMNT international player has already stated his position that he wants to leave Chelsea and join Ac Milan this summer as he has already accepted contract terms with the Italian club. Ac Milan have tabled a second bid close to £20M which is close to what Chelsea are asking. Negotiation are ongoing as there is positivity in the deal.
Trevor Chalobah Newcastle are the current club to show strong interest in the player but no negotiations have taken place. The return of Levi Colwill has also put the future of Chalobah uncertain. Despite all the player has shown no intention of leaving his boyhood club. Inter Milan are also tracking the player.
Conor Gallagher The England international is another player whose future at Chelsea is uncertain as the club itself has not shown much faith on the player and they are ready to sell him if a right offer comes. Several premier league clubs are interested in the player but he is not willing to leave as he wants to fight for his place at the club. Everton and Newcastle are the teams waiting for a green light from Chelsea.
