Pochettino calls for patience.
Mauricio Pochettino has urged for patience especially from the fans. Chelsea are currently rebuilding their squad and Pochettino had to take the blame for Chelsea defeat. The coach said that a process is a process further adding that, “I cannot accelerate some processes but I think being disappointed with the game today and against West Ham where we deserved more.”
Chelsea have failed to show progress in the Premier league despite huge recruitments in the squad and a new coach. Chelsea have recorded only one win which came from newly promoted championship side Luton Town, drawing one and losing two times. This takes Chelsea to be behind league leaders by 8 points in four matches played. Chelsea have currently found a new familiar position in the league table, between 10 to 15th places.
Chelsea players have also taken the responsibility to show that they are not pleased with the results and they are really trying to turn things around and bring the glory back.
Considering Chelsea have been hit by injuries on their key players Pochettino needs to insert new ideas to his tactics and with this international break it’s a good time for him to reaccount on his mistakes before its too late to be left out of the European football spot.
