This transfer window has been the most shocking transfer in Europe due to the entry of Saudi Arabia which has led to massive swoop of top players to the Saudi pro league. Saudi Arabia has taken this transfer window to grow its football league by offering lucrative contract deals to players who have come to an end of their contract or players remaining with one year contract. This has caused a high income generation to certain clubs like Chelsea and wolves who have seen some of their players joining the league. Here is the list of clubs that have received the highest income transfer so far in this summer transfer.
- Chelsea €221 Million Definitely the team to top this list had to be Chelsea as it has recorded the most sales on players as the club is trying to offload its big squad to a sizeable squad. The new manager gave out a green light on players who he feels they aren’t fit for his project and also players who don’t want to continue with Chelsea due to contract reasons. A total of 7 players have been sold out of the club so far.
- Leipzig €134 Million German side Leipzig tops as number two in this transfer. The club has been busy on this transfer as its top players are moving to other clubs and it may actually top as number one if an agreement is reached between the club and Manchester city on a transfer fee for defender Gvardiol who is priced at €100M.
- Westham United €126 Million London side Westham will make an income of €126M when the transfer of Declan Rice is confirmed as official.
- Borussia Dortmund and Sporting CP €108 Million Dortmund shocks in this list as it has only made one sale which has generated this income, the selling of Jude Bellingham and a free transfer move of Guirero to Bayern. The Portuguese side Sporting CP also has made three sales which has made the club accumulating this figure as it’s top sale being Manuel Ugarte at €64M.
- Wolves €92 Million Wolves has is another unexpected club in this list as it has already €92M transfer income this window. Italian side Sassuolo follows closely with an income of €90M as the clubs who have clinched an income of over 90 millions euros.
