Los Angeles, CA – In a surprise move, nu-metal pioneers Korn have announced the cancellation of their highly-anticipated Canadian tour, leaving fans stunned and disappointed.
The band, who were set to embark on a 10-date tour across Canada, cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the cancellation.
“We’re deeply sorry to announce that we’ll no longer be able to perform in Canada as planned,” said Korn lead vocalist Jonathan Davis. “We were looking forward to bringing our music to our Canadian fans, but unfortunately, circumstances have forced us to cancel.”
However, in a shocking twist, the band has also announced the release of a brand-new album, set to drop on October 1st. The album, titled “Requiem”, promises to be a game-changer for the band and their fans.
“We’ve been working tirelessly on new music, and we’re excited to share it with the world,” said Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer. “Requiem is a reflection of where we’re at as a band, and we can’t wait for our fans to experience it.”
The album’s lead single, “Lost in the Haze”, is set to drop on August 15th, and promises to give fans a taste of what’s to come.
