Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice has backed Arsenal might be a surprise in the champions league this season as he believes the club’s quality and talent is capable of having a great run in this competition.

Arsenal’s hunt for the champions league trophy hasn’t yet been accomplished as the club’s best run was only reaching the 2006 final against Barcelona where they lost to ten men therefore their dreams of being the first London club to have won it were shuttered and later their London neighbours Chelsea came on to win twice. Arsenal are now back in the champions league after seven years failing to qualify and Declan Rice have an aim of going all the way to the final and even win it.
Arsenal have started this season well as they are unbeaten in nine matches so far and Declan Rice hope to continue winning despite being in all the competitions this season and load of games playing after every three games. Mikel Arteta side now feels that their hunger for trophies will drive them to winning either of the silverware in the competition they are.
