Barcelona to sign Wilfried Ndidi for free in june.
Barcelona are interested in signing Leicester city midfielder Wilfried Ndidi on free transfer in summer.
Wilfried Ndidi is reluctant to extend his contract with Leicester city which expires in june. Barcelona are interested in signing the 26yrs old Nigerian international on a free transfer deal. Barcelona were unable to fill the void left by the departure of club legend Sergio Busquets who left for Inter Miami and Frank Kessie who left for Saudi Arabia Outfits Al Ahli, as they only brought in one defensive Midfielder Oriol Romeu for short term.
Ndidi who is tempted by Xabi Hernandez project at Barcelona is willing to join the club on free transfer in the next summer. Ndidi have made 200 appearances for the championship club since joining the club in 2017 from Genk.
Ndidi in his first full season in the Premier League was ranked as the highest tackler in the Premier league, winning the ball 138 times. In the next season Ndidi was among the highest tackler with 144 tackles behind only Wan Bissaka and Ghana Gueye.
Barcelona are facing some challenging financial situation,and signing a great defensive Midfielder like Ndidi on free will be a great steal for Barcelona.
