Breaking News: Young Lions wins the U21 European Championship.

England have clinched the UEFA U21 European Championship title with a dramatic 1-0 final win over Spain in Butami, Georgia. The young lions maintained their perfect defensive record in the tournament as James Trafford added time penalty save secured the trophy for England for the first time since 1984.

The young lions took the lead on the half tiime whistle with Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones scoring the opener. Newly Burnley stopper James Trafford was young lions star player on this year’s edition with zero goals conceded in 6 games.

The young lions opened the tournament with a 2-0 win over Czech republic. On their second group game they beat isreal by the same score’s. On their final group game they beat Germany two goals to nil toping their group with zero defeat.

They drew Portugal in the quarter final, winning one goals to deal, courtesy of Antony Gordon goal. They advanced to Semifinal drawing Israel a team they had beaten two nil in the group stage. Israel wasn’t lucky to avoid the young lions paws as they lost three goals to nil qualify for the final, which they have won one nil to Spain.

England had by far the best Squad on the tournament considering most of their players are stars of the premier league. Congratulations to the young lions they really deserved the trophy.
