Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.
The immigration department issued 733 ITAs in a draw for Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination.
To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 725; and
- Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 1:36 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on September 17, 2026.

A foreign national in Canada who has applied for permanent residence through Express Entry may qualify for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP).
If their existing work permit expires before the BOWP application is finalized, they can benefit from maintained status and continue working under the same conditions listed under their existing permit, provided they remain in Canada.
Their family members may also be eligible for a BOWP.
