Juventus will remain together in a training retreat at the JTC Continassa from Friday 30 October up until Sunday’s video game versus Napoli, after a blunt conference in between Giovanni Carnevali, the gamers and Luciano Spalletti. That home component is now commonly viewed as definitive for the coach’s future and the instructions of the season.
A direct conference with president Giovanni Carnevali has actually put the Juventus gamers and their coach under heavy pressure before Napoli’s go to.
The trigger was the loss in Genoa. Kingsley Ehizibue struck in the 12th minute, and Tommaso Baldanzi included a 2nd in the 28th. Spalletti apologised to the fans later on. He stated his side had actually been beaten in every location. He included that they needed to raise their physical level and combating spirit.
Carnevali backs the personnel however needs results
The team took a trip back by train over night. The gamers went to the Continassa the next early morning. Management spoke with them there before training. Carnevali advised them of their obligations to the owners, the club and the fans. He stated the training personnel still had the club’s trust, Adnkronos reported. Clubs hardly ever call this type of retreat. It demonstrates how severe the state of mind is at the Continassa. The message from the top is twofold. Public support for the training personnel comes coupled with pressure for outcomes. That puts heavy weight on a single component.
Similar records conceal a space in front of objective
Both sides have 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 beats from 9 video games, Corriere dello Sport reported. Napoli sit seventh and Juventus 8th.
The space depends on front of objective. Napoli have actually scored 17 times. Juventus have actually handled 11. Juventus have actually yielded just 10. Those figures follow a side whose issues lie more in attack than in defence. A response versus Napoli would require objectives in addition to combating spirit.

The sanction followed his abuse of match authorities and later on behaviour in the altering spaces throughout Napoli’s 3-3 draw with Roma. Napoli initially revealed an appeal. Allegri later on stated he had actually chosen to drop it. That leaves Juventus dealing with a Napoli side without Allegri in charge at a minute when their own coach is under pressure.
The last conference in between the sides in Turin, on 25 January 2026, ended in a 3-0 Juventus win at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus host Napoli at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday 1 November 2026, with kick-off at 20:45.
