Chelsea transfer News: Santos to stay, two youngsters to leave on Loan as Chelsea identify Caicedo Alternative.

Chelsea have been busy this summer trying to trim their large squad so as to accommodate new signing in their squad. Mauricio Pochettino have been insisting that there is a need to trim the squad so as to create balance and room for more experienced players. Decision on the following players have been made and approved by Mauricio Pochettino whether to leave or stay.

Andrey Santos

Santos will not leave Chelsea this summer on loan despite many offers from Italian and Spanish clubs. Mauricio Pochettino were impressed by Santos and will be part of Chelsea first team next season. Chelsea signed the youngster in January from Vasco da Gama but was unable to join due to his work permit which have been approved now.

Cesare Casadei.

Chelsea have decided to allow the Italian gem to leave on Loan to continue his development away from Chelsea next season. Leicester city are interested to sign him but Chelsea prefer Premier league club so that he can gain top flight experience. Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino rates him high and sees him as a longterm player in their midfield.

Lewis Hall

The 18yrs old academy graduate is set to leave this summer on a loan to gain more more experience.He has been with the first team for the past one season after breaking into the first team under Thomas Tuchel. He was named Chelsea academy player of the season last season.Considering Chelsea are heavily stocked on the left back position,he will not be assured of game time this new season.

Chelsea to sign Ederson Alvarez.

Chelsea are set to sign. Ajax midfielder Alvarez this summer as an alternative to their main target Moises Caicedo.Chelsea were interested in signing Alvarez in January window transfer but the deal didn’t happen. Alvarez is much cheaper than Caicedo and have more experience in the top flight than the Ecuadorian.Alvarez is valued at €40m by Ajax. Borrusia Dortmund are also interested in signing the Mexican this summer.
