Indian companies moving AI from pilots towards implementation: Salesforce

Salesforce sees India going into a stage of broader business AI adoption, with business moving beyond experimentation to production releases and the nation offering substantial “white space” for digital and agentic AI development, President and CEO, South Asia, Arundhati Bhattacharya, stated.

In an interview to PTI, she verified the shift by Indian companies, sharing that Salesforce will continue to purchase physical facilities, upskilling Indian skill and recruitment.

“So I would say that yes, they (Indian companies) are moving towards putting things in production,” Bhattacharya stated, reacting to a concern on whether Indian companies were moving towards massive implementation after explore generative AI and AI representatives.

Elaborating on Salesforce’s India strategies, Bhattacharya stated a brand-new tower in Bengaluru is anticipated to come on stream next fiscal year as one of its financial investments in the nation.
