Liverpool confirms the defender as their new captain.

Virgil Van Dijk has been confirmed as the new Liverpool captain.

Liverpool have officially announced Virgil Van Dijk as the new club Captain after the departure of Jordan Henderson. Henderson have been the club Captain since 2015,where he took over from club legend Steven Gerrard.
