Mohamed Salah set to join Karim Benzima at Al-ittihad.

Mohamed Salah is considering a move to Al-ittihad this summer after giving Saudi side green light to negotiate with Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah could be heading out of Liverpool this summer, after his agent Ramy Abbas gave the Saudi “green light” to negotiate with Liverpool for a permanent move for the 31yrs old Egyptian. Al-ittihad has already agreed personal terms with Salah and are waiting for Jurgen Klopp’s approval to complete the deal for the Egyptian.

Salah move will be a great loss to Liverpool, who have already lost Firmino,Fabinho and Henderson to Saudi pro league. Salah was Liverpool top scorer last season.

Liverpool signed Salah in 2017 from Roma for a deal worth £43.9m. Salah scored 33 goals for Liverpool in his debut season winning the premier league player of the season and the golden boot. Won the premier league with Liverpool after 30 yrs in 2019/20 season wining the Golden boot also.

Salah won champions league with Liverpool in 2019, European super cup and also the Fifa club world cup the same year. He also won both FA and League cup in 2022.

Salah will go down as one of the best Liverpool forwards in history, scoring 137 premier league goals in 219 appearances for the Reds.He is the highest scoring African in premier league history. Salah have made 306 appearances for Liverpool scoring 186 goals while assisting 76 goals across all competitions for the Reds.

Salah will be the fifth major summer signing for Al-ittihad who have completed the signing of Karim Benzima from Real Madrid, Ngolo Kantè from Chelsea, Jota from Celtic and former teammate Fabinho from Liverpool.

Liverpool will not allow their superstar to leave for free as they will demand higher fees for Salah.
