Oh lord, now those GTA 6 leakers are saying if enough of you give them money they’ll leak a playable build of the game

Unless Rockstar put the video game on discs and apologise, that is

You can wait another month and some modification to play GTA 6? I suggest, everybody reading this who has a console, anyhow, still no bloomin’sight of a PC release date. In any case, I’m sure you can wait, and I’m sure you would not be ridiculous adequate to offer Cyberleek, that hacker lot who’ve been dripping clips from the upcoming market ending video game for an excellent while now, cash in their own cryptocurrency simply to play it? Since that’s what the group is asking you to do.

Previously today, Cyberleek relatively dripped a great 25 minutes of video footage that consisted of a somewhat outrageous take a look at co-protag Jason. Now, over on their site (I’m not connecting you to it, clearly), they’re threatening to launch a playable construct of the video game. “Here’s the deal, nice and clean,” checks out a declaration from the group “Cyberleek hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don’t believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CL is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they’ll pick.”

Now, it still isn’t clear whether Cyberleek really has a playable construct or not. Plainly they’ve got some quantity of access to video of the video game, however it’s completely possible that this entire thing is a bluff, and it’s nearly certainly the case that the group is out to make a little bit of moolah out of the entire scenario. And if they do have a playable construct, if their real objective was to get physical discs printed and a “public apology,” why trouble attempting to get cash out of the public? Does not look like a needed action to take if you ask me, and makes the entire thing even fishier than it currently is.

I would not put any bets on Rockstar/Take-Two capitulating to these needs. GTA 6 is going to be so huge that whatever damage a leakage of this scale may trigger, it most likely would not suffice to make them unexpectedly choose to launch on discs, and an apology of any kind like what Cyberleek seek would simply harm the most valuable thing they own: their brand name identity. Who understands what it would take to get the develop to run; many individuals likely would not have the real understand how, let alone PC specifications to get it to run, not to discuss a bulk of folks will be playing on console.

What a palaver! Can’t await the bloody video game to launch so we can concentrate on what’s actually crucial: discourse over whether the video game style is dated due to the fact that it took so long to make.
