A local housing provider has donated £250 to a primary school to help it celebrate World Teachers’ Day.
Leaf Living made the donation to Barton Park Primary School in Oxford.
Headteacher Bryony McCraw said the money will be used towards a celebration event for teachers and teaching partners.
Ms McCraw said: “The donation from Leaf Living will help us recognise the hard work of our teaching and support staff and is a great celebration of World Teachers’ Day.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Leaf Living to our school and to hear how they share our community values.”
Laura Conaty, representing Leaf Living, visited the school to present the donation on October 5.
Ms Conaty said: “Our commitment to the communities in which we deliver and manage rented homes for families is an important part of our ethos.
“It was an honour to recognise and celebrate the fantastic teaches at Barton Park Primary School and continue building relationships with our neighbours, just a five minute walk from our homes to rent at Beckley Place.”
Leaf Living provides professionally managed family homes and focuses on building long-term community partnerships.
The company currently offers three and four-bedroom homes for rent at Beckley Place, all rated EPC C or above and designed for modern family living.
All homes are pet-friendly and equipped with smart technology, including keyless entry and smart thermostats.
