OYSCOED Governing Council Hails Makinde Over Management Appointments, Students Sponsorship

The Governing Council of Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate (OYSCOED), has actually applauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, for authorizing the consultation of substantive Management for the College and the sponsorship of twenty (20) trainees from each Local Government Area in the State.

The commendation was made at the Council’s 20th Regular Meeting hung on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, at the College Board Room, Administrative Building, Site A.

The Chairman of the Governing Council, Com. Segun Oyewumi, explained the approvals as substantial turning points that would enhance the organization’s administration and broaden access to quality instructor education throughout the State.

He kept in mind that the consultation of substantive Management would promote administrative stability, improve institutional governance and reinforce the College’s capability to provide on its statutory required.

He likewise explained the sponsorship of twenty trainees from each Local Government Area as a good effort that would expand access to college, promote equivalent instructional chances and support the advancement of future instructors throughout Oyo State.
