Red Sea Museum in Jeddah Opens “Photographing Distances” Exhibition

The Red Sea Museum, connected with the Museums Commission, today opened the”Photographing Distances”exhibit by Argentine artist Matilde Marin at the museum’s head office in Historic Jeddah. Held for the very first time in the Kingdom, the exhibit runs up until 31 December.

The program provides photographic and video overcome which Marin files maritime lighthouses in different geographical places, consisting of those in Jeddah and Yanbu, highlighting their associations with the history of navigation, human memory and the relationship in between individuals and location.
