SASSA has actually verified that pensioners will get their November 2026 Older Person’s Grant before October ends.
The company will pay Older Persons’ Grants from Friday, 30 October, 2 days from today. Pensioners generally get their cash on the very first day of the month.
Why the GRANT payment comes early
SASSA moved the November payment dates around voting day on Wednesday, 4 November. In its main notification, the firm stated the modification intends “to accommodate the verified ballot date while guaranteeing that recipients are plainly notified and can prepare appropriately.”
Older Person’s Grants generally open the regular monthly payment cycle. Moving them to Friday offers pensioners a number of days to gather their cash before the surveys open.
The complete November schedule
Pensioners lead the payment schedule, followed by other grant types:
- Older Person’s Grants: Friday, 30 October
- Impairment Grants: Monday, 2 November
- Kid’s Grants: Tuesday, 3 November
- All other grants: 5 November
When SASSA pays the grant, the cash remains in the recipient’s account. Pensioners do not require to hurry to ATMs or pay points on Friday, when lines are typically longest. Gathering the cash over the weekend or early next week is simply as safe.
What to do if the cash does not get here
SASSA has actually alerted recipients who have actually not gotten their grant by 5 November to visit their regional SASSA workplace urgently.
According to the firm, a missing payment might suggest the grant was suspended since the recipient did not finish an evaluation. Pensioners who have actually gotten an evaluation notification must act upon it rapidly to keep their payments streaming.
SASSA likewise motivated all recipients to vote on 4 November and make their voices heard.
