A young couple who constantly abused their child for the majority of his brief life before he passed away at 8 months old pleaded guilty on Monday (Oct 12) to charges connected to his death.
The mom, Chloe Gan Ci Xuan, 23, and the dad, Neo Jia Ming, 27, will be sentenced on Oct 21.
The High Court heard on Oct 12 that child Trevor Neo Yu Hin was intensely shaken and suffocated into unconsciousness on several events.
The young boy passed away after Gan consistently smothered him in his cot, struck him, and left him lying face-down.
Gan and Neo were detained by the cops on Sept 2, 2024, after the young boy was noticable dead at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
