Aberdeen-headquartered incorporated services specialist EnerMech has actually protected an agreement with Subsea7 to provide pre-commissioning services for a subsea advancement job offshore Trinidad and Tobago.
For BP’s Ginger subsea advancement, EnerMech will supply pipeline and subsea pre-commissioning activities utilizing regional knowledge and devices currently placed within the Caribbean area.
The business’s extensive pre-commissioning bundle covers pipeline and subsea screening, flushing, hydrotesting, water filling, leakage screening and commissioning assistance activities needed to prepare the field’s subsea production system (SPS) for operation.
The scope supports both setup and commissioning stages of the advancement.
Ginger is found off the southeast coast of the island of Trinidad at water depths of as much as 90 meters. The advancement will consist of 4 subsea wells and subsea trees connected back to its existing Mahogany B platform. Gas is anticipated in 2027.

Previously this summer season, EnerMech finished a pipeline flushing and cleansing workscope for Subsea7 as part of a field decommissioning program in the Gulf of Mexico.
