Sunderland resurrects interests for Benjamin Rollheiser.
Sunderland football club have once again reignited their interests on Argentine top talent Benjamin Rollheiser who is valued at £12M. Sunderland will have to battle premier league side Newcastle in order to sign the 23 year old who plays for Estudiantes de La Plata.

Who is Benjamin Rollheiser?
Rollheiser is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Estudiantes. Rollheiser can also be used as a number 10 due to his style of play which has also earned him lofty comparisons to Lionel Messi. Rollheiser rose from his home town club Deportivo Sarmiento during his youth ages and later moved to River Plate where he started establishing himself notching one goal and two assist in 34 appearances before rejoining Estudiantes in 2022.
The dimunitive wide man has had an impressive year where he has scored 12 goals in 54 matches and providing seven assists for Estudiantes.
Sunderland to battle with Newcastle.
Sunderland are set to rival Newcastle whom are also eying to sign this winger as they also believe he is an ideal competitor for Miguel Almiron down the right side to strengthen the attack.
As reported by The Sun, The Black cats had teed up a loan proposal deal in the summer transfer window for Rollheiser but the deal collapsed due to high asking fee by the club. Now they will be looking to strengthen the attack and add creativity in January window transfer if the Argentinian will be keen on the move. Coach Tony Mowbray is keen on bringing the starlet as he aim for a premier league return.
Russian clubs Zenit and CSKA Moscow are also interested in Rollheiser and Sunderland could face competition not only from the Magpies.
