The Beekeeper tends to his own hive

Jason Statham launches a stable diet plan of B-grade action flicks, however every when in a while, he stars in a film that’s a cut above his normal fare (see likewise: Rage of Man. A couple years back, one such movie emerged, The Beekeeperwhich is simply the best mix of bonkers property and outstanding action, ending up being an immediate fun-action film favorite. Now, a follow up is on its method, appropriately entitled The Beekeeper 2

The Stath is back as Clay, and truthfully, I did not keep in mind the character’s name. He is simply the Beekeeper. This time, rather than battle the coked-up boy of the president doing wire scams on senior victims, the Beekeeper is taking on his own as the Beekeeper company has actually gone rogue and is trying to take control of the federal government. I indicate, in the last movie the First Son lagged a huge scams plan, so like, possibly the Beekeepers have a point?

Regardless, this time it’s drone-on-drone criminal offense, total with a lot of bee-related puns in the discussion. The very first movie was composed by Kurt Wimmer, who likewise composed the 1999 Thomas Crown Affair Law Abiding Citizen, and Saltand was directed by David Ayer. The follow up, however, is composed by Umair Aleem, who co-wrote Extractionamong those extremely suspect, low-budget Bruce Willis action flicks made before his retirement due to dementia. The follow up is likewise now directed by Timo Tjahjanto, one half of the Indonesian filmmaking duo The Mo Brothers.

I feel dumb even confessing, however I am a little worried about how an innovative switch up will affect the follow up. The Beekeeper is outrageous, however it is grounded in a real fact, that wire scams and phishing rip-offs disproportionately target the senior and nobody is doing anything about it. Based upon the trailer, the follow up looks entirely separated from truth. It DOES have Pom Klementieff stabbing a guy in the nuts, so perhaps The Beekeeper 2 Will be a winner.
