Former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire have completed a permanent switch to Westham United on a deal worth €30m. Maguire joined United in 2019 from Leicester City for the then world record fee for a defender. His three years stay at Old Trafford, was the worst experience of his career. Maguire was unable to deliver and many Manchester United were disappointed by his performances. At the start of the summer, Harry Maguire was stripped off Manchester United Captaincy and put up on sale as United manager Erik Ten Hag was unsatisfied by the England international performances and confidence.

Manchester United have already submitted an official offer worth around €30m for the Bayern Munich defender who is out of contract next summer. Pavard joined Bayern Munich in 2019 after a fabulous World cup tournament in 2018 with French national team,who were eventually world cup winners. Pavard is versatile and capable of playing different positions in the backline. Comfortable on ball and hard tackler with vast experience,Pavard will be a great addition to Ten Hag team.
Jean-Clair Todibo
Manchester United are interested in signing the 23yrs old Nice defender this summer.Todibo joined Barcelona in 2019 as a teenager and made 4 appearances for the senior team and spent three years on loan at schalke 04 in 2020, Benfica in 2021 Before leaving for french side Lille where the move was made Permanent. Todibo is tall, physical and comfortable on ball. Todibo also posses great vision and accuracy on short and long balls. Todibo will be a great upgrade compared to Harry Maguire. He has made over 70 appearances for nice.
Edmond Topsoba
The 24yrs old Burkinabe is also on the transfer list to replace Harry Maguire. Tottenham were much interested in signing him this summer but the deal didn’t go through this summer. Topsoba is versatile, aggressive on tackles and great aerial presence considering his height. Apart from his physicality, Topsoba is very calm and comfortable on ball.Topsoba joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 from Portuguese side Victoria de Guimaraes. Bayer Leverkusen Values him at around €50m.
