Week 4 Film Preview: Highlights from the All 22

The Packers could not do much on the offending side of the ball last Thursday night and it resulted in Atlanta’s very first win of the season. In Michael Penix very first video game of the season back from injury, Atlanta had the ability to manage the line of skirmish on both sides of the ball and control the Packers for the majority of the video game. While Atlanta should have the credit for entering into Lambeau and getting the win versus the preferred Packers, this video game was more about the Packers not carrying out than Atlanta doing something unique. For the Saints to get a win this Monday night, it needs to begin with taking control of the line of skirmish, something they could not perform in the 4th quarter versus the Raiders.

Atlanta’s offense begins and ends with their capability to get their finest gamer, Bijan Robinson, the ball with space to run. Their playbook is focused around their capability to run outdoors zone with Robinson and the Packers never ever discovered a strong response for this as Robinson hurried for 194 backyards and 2 goals on Thursday night. Outdoors zone is an extremely tough play to stop as it is tiring for the protective line and uses lots of possible cut-back alternatives for the running back so protectors should be discipline in their space projects. If the Saints can set the edge and limitation Atlanta’s capability to let Robinson round around the edge, the Falcons will not have comparable success on the ground that they had in Green Bay.

The Falcons protective action to 12 workers can be seen listed below and will be a location the Saints can capitalize. When the Packers put 2 tight ends on the field, the Falcons responded by entering a bear front (Image listed below) out of a base workers bundle that consist of 3 lineman and 4 linebackers. This is a location where the Saints offense can capitalize as they can provide having 2 tight ends in their workers bundle while utilizing either Noah Fant or Juwan Johnson in more of a receiver function. While they Packers weren’t able to benefit from the inequalities the Falcons 12 workers action would produce due to bad OLine play, the Saints appear really comfy up until now this season with 2 tight ends on the field. This leads me to think we will see another huge day for Juwan in the getting video game and more efficient in the run video game as the Falcons front 7 on paper is the weakest one they have actually dealt with.

Comparable to the Ravens, the Falcons offense will provide the Saints defense a large sample of boot action to stop on Monday night as they utilize the play as a compliment to their zone hurrying plan. The Falcons boot play is distinct as they move Drake London(most harmful receiver )around to include him in the idea in numerous methods. Unlike the Ravens, London will run every path in the principle and provides a distinct capability to be hazardous at every level of the defense. The Packers where never ever able to reach a genuine response for the Falcons zone hurrying which resulted in London gashing them on boot and play action plays. While I rely on Staley’s capability to stop the Zone/Boot combination groups after his revealing versus the Ravens, Drake London will be the very best receiver he has actually been entrusted with stopping yet this year because kind of plan. I do not anticipate London to be running large open throughout the field, the Saints should have a response for when he captures the ball on brief flat paths that can be discovered as check downs – which is where the Raiders continuously discovered simple backyards for their tight ends. This location is where London is most hazardous as he can turn a brief competitors into an explosive play for the Atlanta offense.
