WorldSSP: Alcoba finishes Cremona double

Red carpet WorldSSP: Jeremy Alcoba(Kawasaki WorldSSP Team)finished a best Italian Round by declaring back-to-back success at Cremona after an awesome race-long fight with Albert Arenas (AS BLU CRU Racing Team)and Tom Booth-Amos(PTR Triumph Factory Racing ).

Race 2 Highlights

Arenas led 16 of the 20 laps and looked set to transform his strong speed into success, however Alcoba stayed within striking range before making his definitive carry on the penultimate lap. The Spaniard took the lead and hung on to protect his 2nd success of the weekend. Arenas ultimately ended up second, while Booth-Amos finished the podium after fighting with arm pump problems throughout the closing phases.

Valentin Debise (EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory) withstood a more separated race in 5th position. Beginning with the front row, the champion competitor invested much of the race with a four-second space separating him from Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Yamaha) ahead and a comparable margin back to the group led by Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura).

An eight-rider group fought for positions throughout much of the race, with Masia leading Phillip Oettl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team). Can Oncu (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) ultimately dropped to 11th after being required large by Federico Caricasulo (EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory) throughout the closing phases.

• Arenas enhanced his position at the top of the WorldSSP Riders’Championship and now holds an 86-point benefit over Debise with 4 races staying.
• Yamaha leads the Manufacturers ‘Championship by 92 points, with an optimum of 100 points still offered throughout the last 4 races.

“I was a bit more anxious than the other day however I was attempting to manage myself a lot and focus. I understand that the other riders would enhance from the other day. I had a hard time a bit after 7 laps the other day so today I chose to be smoother at the start of the race. I understood that I was quick so I was feeling rather excellent however I likewise understood that Arenas had something additional.
