BEIJING, Sept. 30(Xinhua)– Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Party and state leaders participated in an event to present flower baskets to fallen nationwide heroes at Tian’anmen Square in main Beijing on Wednesday early morning.
The occasion was held to mark Martyrs’ Day. Observed on Sept. 30, one day before National Day, the day celebrates those who provided their lives for nationwide self-reliance and success.
Given That Martyrs’ Day was developed in 2014, Xi, likewise basic secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, has actually kept the custom of admiring fallen heroes on the day.

Yin Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, commanded the event.
This year marks the 105th starting anniversary of the CPC and the 90th anniversary of the success of the Long March, which lasted from 1934 to 1936. The strenuous journey assisted lay the structure for the ultimate success of the Chinese transformation. ■
