Zach Bryan Wears ‘Free Palestine’ Shirt at Robert Kraft’s Gillette Stadium

Grammy winner Zach Bryan took a pointed style position at Gillette Stadium on Friday night (Oct. 2), using a black T-shirt checking out “Free Palestine” throughout the very first of 2 dates on his With Heaven On Tour at the Foxborough, Mass., place.

Members of Bryan’s band were likewise found in matching t-shirts, according to TMZwith fan video footage of the minute rapidly distributing on social networks. Bryan did not appear to attend to the t-shirt from the phase.

The option of closet– and place– is difficult to check out as a coincidence. Gillette Stadium is owned by the Kraft Group, led by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who weeks previously played a main function in eliminating Macklemore from the staying U.S. dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour over the rap artist’s pro-Palestinian declarations onstage.

Throughout his opening sets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Sept. 4 and 5, Macklemore stated “Free Palestine” to the crowd and performed his 2024 demonstration tune “Hind’s Hall.” On the 2nd night, he likewise spoke straight to Jewish fans in participation, stating his criticism of the Israeli federal government was not directed at them.

The Israeli-American Council introduced a petition requiring his elimination, and on Sept. 14 trip promoter Messina Touring Group verified Macklemore would no longer appear on the staying U.S. dates after several NFL arena owners supposedly threatened to pull programs if he remained on the costs.

Kraft validated his participation in a declaration that very same day, stating he felt an obligation to speak out when he thought a line had actually been crossed on antisemitism, while acknowledging that Palestinian suffering is genuine.

Sheeran stated in his own declaration the following day that the elimination was the promoter’s choice, not his, which he had actually spoken straight with Kraft while looking for a resolution.

The fallout was speedy. Fellow openers Finneas, Aaron Rowe and Lukas Graham left the trip in uniformity, as did Irish folk band Beoga, who had actually been carrying out with Sheeran, while Macklemore reacted with a prolonged Instagram post detailing the cash, brand name offers, celebrations and personal programs he states his advocacy has actually cost him.

He later on promised $1 million from his visiting profits to Palestinian help companies and revealed a Free Palestine Tour– a brief European run striking Dublin, Paris and London from Oct. 26 to 30– which he has actually because stated offered out right away.

Sheeran never ever made it to Foxborough in the end: his 2 Gillette Stadium dates last weekend were ditched due to extreme weather– in spite of the trip having actually acquiesced the place owners’ needs.

Bryan has actually seldom avoided friction with effective figures. In October 2025, a teaser of his tune “Bad News”– which recommendations ICE raids– drew public criticism from the Department of Homeland Security and the White House, with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stating at the time that she was dissatisfied by the clip. Bryan pressed back at the time, arguing that the tune talked to both sides of the aisle and prompting fans not to let social networks stories divide them. The track eventually appeared on his album With Heaven on Toplaunched Jan. 9, 2026.

Bryan is arranged to go back to Gillette Stadium for the 2nd night of his Foxborough base on Saturday (Oct. 3)– and all eyes will be on whether the t-shirt makes a repeat look, and whether Kraft, who has yet to openly react, takes any action. Agents for Kraft did not right away react to ask for remark.
